Married house parents who have childcare experience oversee each house and ensure the safety of the students. Teachers and house parents work as a team and inform the parents of the child?s development. With a learning environment that emphasizes preparing children for life after high school, Milton Hershey School designed three other centralized programs aside from its academic program: Student Character and Leadership, Applied and Integrated Learning, and Student Health Services. In addition, the school also offers extracurricular activities like athletics, theater productions, service organizations, and internships.
